JUST TELL THE STORY:  TROUBLED ISLAND
Edited by Judith Anne Still and Lisa M. Headlee

With contributions by Verna Arvey, Dr. Wallace Cheatham, Dr. Bonnie Cutsforth-Huber, Dr. Dominique Rene deLerma, Zeke Hecker, Noni Olabisi, and Dr. William Grant Still.

Released September 2006

Judith Anne Still and Lisa M. Headlee are very pleased to bring to public awareness the historically significant story of William Grant Still's opera, "Troubled Island." It was a difficult story to bring forth, but necessary.

The editors hope that this publication will eventually lead to the opera's well-deserved, first long-run productions on American and international stages.
